Founded in September 2011 by Jaclyn Acker, Galerie Protégé exists as a platform for emerging artists to exhibit their work in the heart of New York City’s Chelsea gallery district. Located on the lower level of Chelsea Frames, Galerie Protégé is dedicated to exhibiting contemporary works of art in a wide range of media including, but not limited to, painting, drawing, photography and performance-based work. In March of 2013, artist and curator Robert Dimin stepped in as Director and will continue to grow the reputation to be the leading gallery for emerging art in New York City. Dimin's vision for the gallery will come into full swing in the fall of 2013 highlighting the youthful vibrancy of the emerging artist with limitless possibilities and without discipline restrictions.

Galerie Protégé is now accepting submissions for 2013-2014.
